Chado Tea Room
Chado Tea room has been operating in Los Angeles for 35 years and recently needed to rebuild its supply chain after losing a supplier. They came to us to redevelop its supply chain, modernize its systems, and refine its brand identity and marketing.
Matcha Sourcing
We rebuilt Chado's matcha around a single origin: an Okumidori-cultivar tea from Kakegawa, in Japan's Shizuoka prefecture, grown by a producer we work with directly. We audited the supplier in person, and secured video footage from their facility for marketing purposes.
Technology
We brought Chado's core systems onto common ground — lifecycle email, point of sale across the tea rooms, and the online catalog. The result was one source of truth, so the same product meant the same thing everywhere it was sold.
Marketing
We stood up Chado's marketing as an actual function — brand, paid media, and lifecycle email — and wired it to the numbers underneath, so campaigns answered to revenue rather than instinct. The same data work surfaced what the catalog was really doing: which blends carried the business, how demand moved through the year, and where price and assortment had drifted out of step.
